Installing the irrigation system on my new land

In a dry year like this year, it is very important to have a good irrigation system to overcome the scarce amount of rain.

Having acquired new pieces of land this year, I recently installed a new irrigation system on them.

Water is one of the most precious gifts nature gives us, so we must be aware of its value and respect it by ensuring we do not waste it. I have witnessed the gradual scarcity of it in my region since I was a child: small rivers around my village, in which my brothers and I would catch small fish and crabs during our summer holidays of my elementary school years, are now dried up by April or May. Long gone is the sight of lush riversides in July or August, and gone with it is the tantalizing smell of the freshly grilled crabs my grandmother would prepare for us as a quick picnic lunch!
